Care instructions for your leather bag
With proper care, your bag will last for many, many years – and only become more beautiful over time. Here are some simple tips:
1. Avoid moisture
Leather does not like water. If the bag gets wet – gently wipe it with a soft cloth and let it air dry at room temperature (not on a radiator or in direct sunlight).
2. Use leather conditioner
Lubricate the bag from time to time with a natural leather conditioner. This keeps the leather soft and protects it from drying out and cracking.
3. Store properly
Store the bag in a dry place, preferably in a cloth bag or airy space. Avoid plastic bags – they can trap moisture.
4. Clean gently
Use a damp soft cloth to wipe off dirt. Avoid harsh detergents or soaps.
5. Let the patina come
Scratches, creases and color changes are part of the natural life of leather. That's what makes each bag personal and alive.
